Language Interpretation

Qualified interpreters for languages other than English and for Sign Language (ASL) are available for our patients and their families. Learn more about our Language Interpretation services.

Car seat checks

Before your child goes home, we’ll make sure your child is ready to safely use a car seat. You will be responsible for securing the car seat into your car. Car seat checks are available to help you make sure your car seat is installed correctly. The Safe Kids team provides car seat checks by appointment at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida. Community partners also provide car seat checks at locations around the Tampa Bay area. Learn more about car seat checks near you.

Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

WIC is a federally funded nutrition program for women, infants and children. WIC provides the following at no cost: healthy foods, nutrition education and counseling, breastfeeding support, and referrals for health care and community services. Medicaid Transportation Services

Medicaid covers non-emergency transportation services for Medicaid eligible recipients who have no other means of transportation available to Medicaid covered services. Medicaid also covers medically necessary emergency ground or air ambulance transportation. For information, visit ahca.myflorida.com.
