Background
Julius Oni, M.D., is a member of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery who specializes in hip and knee replacement, particularly minimally invasive joint replacement surgery and complex primary and revision joint replacements.
His research interests include optimization of postoperative outcomes after total hip and knee replacements, unicompartmental knee replacement, avascular necrosis, and the use of technology in preoperative patient education and surgical preparation.
He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS), and the National Medical Association. He serves on the AAHKS Humanitarian Committee; and is currently the Mentoring Committee Chair for the J. Robert Gladden Orthopaedic Society.
