Background

Dr. Kathleen Page is an associate professor of medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Her areas of clinical expertise include infectious diseases, HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis. Dr. Page directs the Latin American programs for the Johns Hopkins Center for Clinical Global Health Education. 

She received her undergraduate degree in public health from Johns Hopkins and earned her M.D. from Washington University School of Medicine. She completed her residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and performed a fellowship in infectious diseases at Johns Hopkins. Dr. Page joined the Johns Hopkins faculty in 2006.

Dr. Page’s research interests are related to HIV and other infectious diseases, with a focus on how those diseases affect Hispanic Americans.

In 2010, Dr. Page, along with Adriana Andrade, M.D., helped start the Hopkins Organization for Latino Awareness, which aims to improve quality, outcomes and access to care for Latinos at Johns Hopkins through scholarship, education and policy leadership. 

She has been recognized with several honors, including the Mayor’s Hispanic Heritage Award in the service provider/organization category in 2014.
