Macleay Valley Historical Books on Sale | The Macleay Argus

The Macleay Valley Historical Society is holding a sale on a wide range of historical books that focus on the local area. The sale, which offers up to 50% off select books, will continue until all books are sold. There are also books available for purchase for the last time as the publication of the publications has stopped printing. Some of the local historical books include; Riverboats of the Macleay, From Go to Whoa, The First 100 Years of Horse Racing in the Macleay Valley, Letters from South Africa and The Game They Play in Heaven – and on the Macleay. Macleay Valley Historical Society president Phil Lee said it was a great opportunity to buy the books cheaply and learn more about the area.
